As a special preview, we're thrilled to announce two operas coming to the Sydney Opera House for summer 2025: Massenet's Cinderella (Cendrillon) direct from The Met, and an encore season of Sarah Giles’ critically acclaimed production of La Traviata.

Your booking to both productions now will count towards your 2025 Subscription package when the full Season is announced later this year.

Massenet’s classic opera has long delighted audiences with its sumptuous music and big heart.

Audience favourite Emma Matthews and Australian mezzo sopranos Emily Edmonds and Margaret Plummer will star in this crowd-pleasing production.

Be transported to a pop-up storybook world, with playful choreography, extravagant costumes, and a dash of humour.

This dazzling production will also be performed on New Year's Eve at the Joan Sutherland Theatre.
