Troubleshooting
How do I prepare for watching a live stream?
Before watching the stream, make sure you have the following:
- A computer with stable internet connection
- Headphones or quality speakers
- You’ve tested your internet speed and confirmed the test video plays as expected.
The player keeps buffering, what do I do?
If the player keeps pausing or buffering, it generally means that you do not have enough bandwidth to view the stream.
Try viewing a lower quality version of the stream and see if that helps. To do this, click the Cog icon at the bottom right of the player and choose a lower number quality.
Quality and buffering is reduced if multiple people are using your Internet connection.
How do I enter or exit full screen?
To open full screen, click the square icon at the bottom right of the screen .
The easiest way to exit full screen mode is to click the ‘Esc’ (Escape) button on the keyboard. You can also double-click the player or click the ‘F’ letter on your keyboard.
I have an iPhone I usually Chromecast Netflix or YouTube from my phone to my TV, why isn’t this working for this stream?
Google doesn’t support casting from Apple devices to Chromecast.
Netflix, YouTube, Stan, Disney+ etc all have their own custom-build app. Casting via these apps is often included within the SmartTV making this appear seamless. Other videos and services who don’t have their own app are unable to cast from Apple to Google Chromecast.
Some apps within the Apple App Store may be able to cast to Chromecast though they have not been verified, tested, and they often come with a cost.
The best solution is to connect a laptop to your TV via a HDMI cable or enter the short url provided into your SmartTV’s web browser.
