Pre-Performance Dinner

For the perfect start to your night at the Sydney Opera House, relax over a 3-course meal with uninterrupted harbour views, before heading into the performance.

The restaurant and bar in the Northern Foyer of the Joan Sutherland Theatre opens 90 minutes before evening performances. It is not open before matinees or Great Opera Hits. The space is wheelchair accessible.

Space is limited, so we recommend purchasing dinner when you book your tickets. No booking is necessary for the bar.

  • Cancellation and no shows are not refundable;
  • We recommend you arrive 90 minutes prior to the performance start time (and no later than one hour prior to the show) to ensure you have appropriate time to enjoy your dinner service. We will not be able to service your table if you arrive less than 60 minutes prior to the performance start time;
  • Bookings are not refundable or transferable to another date
  • Any special dietary requirements need to be advised minimum 2 days prior to your booking on;
  • All reservations to arrive minimum 1 hour prior to show commencement
  • Bookings can be taken three hours prior to dinner commencing on the day
  • Published menu is subject to change without notice;
  • This is a set menu. For special dietary requirements, please contact the Box Office at least two days prior to your booking on 02 9250 7777.
  • Additional food or beverages ordered on the night will incur extra charges, payable by cash or card.
  • Despite best efforts, menu items may contain traces of allergens due to shared preparation facilities. We cannot guarantee the absence of allergens in any dish.
  • Menu items may vary based on seasonal availability.
