An exclusive pre-show experience for My Fair Lady, with breathtaking harbour views in the Joan Sutherland Theatre Northern Foyer. 

Enjoy either Higgins’ High Tea (matinee performances) or Overture Dining (evening performances), curated by Australia's leading female chef Danielle Alvarez, these menus celebrate London's Edwardian elegance and the transformation of humble ingredients into something sophisticated, much like the transformation of protagonist, Eliza Doolittle, from humble flower girl into a glamorous member of high society.

The pre-performance dining experience opens 90 minutes before evening performances in the Northern Foyer of the Joan Sutherland Theatre. The space is wheelchair accessible.

We recommend you arrive 1.5 hours prior to the show start time (and no later than 1 hour prior to the show) to ensure you receive the full experience. Please check your show schedule. We are unable to service your table should you arrive less than 30 minutes prior to the show start.

Space is limited, so we recommend purchasing the pre-show experience when you book your tickets. No booking is necessary for the bar.

  • We recommend you arrive 90 minutes prior to the performance start time (and no later than one hour prior to the show) to ensure you have appropriate time to enjoy your dinner service. We will not be able to service your table if you arrive less than 60 minutes prior to the performance start time;
  • This is a fixed menu, specific dietary requests can be accommodated on request, with a minimum of 48 hours notice;
  • Additional food or drink requested on the night can be paid for by cash or card;
  • Cancellation and no shows for reservations will not be refunded.
