Ji-Min Park

South Korean tenor Ji-Min Park studied at Seoul National University with Professor Philip Kang and at the Vienna Conservatory with Professor Carolyn Hague. He joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House in 2007 and became a Principal Young Artist in the 2009-10 season.

In the 2024/25 season, he returns to Opera Australia as Alfredo in La Traviata.

Recent operatic highlights include Rodolfo in La bohème (Cincinnati Opera, Royal Opera House), Edgardo Lucia di Lammermoor, Roméo Roméo et Juliette, Don José Carmen and Ferrando Così fan tutte (Opéra de Baugé), and his role debut as Énée in Les Troyens (Theater Kiel). Other performances include Alfredo in La Traviata (Scottish Opera, Royal Opera House) and Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi.

Concert highlights include Verdi’s Requiem (Estonian National Symphony Orchestra) and recitals at La Scala and the Royal Opera House. Park has received numerous awards and represented Korea in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition in 2009.
