Matthew Jenson

After graduating from Brent Street in 2013, Matthew made his professional musical theatre debut in the original Australian cast of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom the Musical (Global Creatures).

His other theatre credits include Singin’ in the Rain (Dainty Group); Hello, Dolly! (The Production Company); Disney’s Aladdin (Disney Theatrical Australia); West Side Story (Opera Australia/GWB Entertainment); Pippin (GFO); La Cage aux Folles (Showtune Productions) and Cinderella (Opera Australia/GFO). Most recently, Matthew appeared in the national tour of Chicago (GFO).

Matthew has also appeared as a dancer on The X Factor, directed by The Squared Division, and performed in the art installation 13 Rooms with Sydney Dance Company.

Beyond the stage, Matthew is the proud Co-Director of All Starz Performing Arts in Peakhurst and Planetdance in Menai, where he is passionate about developing Australia’s next generation of performers.
