Anna-Louise Cole


Background: Born Melbourne, Australia. BA Hons and BMus Hons (University of Melbourne), majors in Music Performance (Voice) and German. Also studied at the Kunst Universität Graz, Austria and Karl-Ludwigs Universität, Freiburg, Germany. Has won and been a finalist in a number of major singing competitions. 

OA repertoire: Joined the chorus of Opera Australia as a full time soprano, 2015. Performed Gerhilde (Die Walküre) and Third Norn (Götterdämmerung) in the 2016 Melbourne Ring. In 2017, Anna-Louise will perform Crobyle (Thäis) and the title role in Aïda in Griffith Opera on the Beach.

As winner of the 2016 Vienna State Opera Award from the Opera Foundation for Young Australians, Anna-Louise will join the principal ensemble at the Wiener Staatsoper from January–May 2017.
