Anna-Louise Cole


Background: Born Melbourne, Australia. BA Hons and BMus Hons (University of Melbourne), majors in Music Performance (Voice) and German. Also studied at the Kunst Universität Graz, Austria and Karl-Ludwigs Universität, Freiburg, Germany. Has won a number of major singing competitions, including the 2016 Vienna State Opera Award from the Opera Foundation for Young Australians. 

OA repertoire: Joined the chorus of Opera Australia as a full time soprano, 2015. Has performed Gerhilde (Die Walküre) and Third Norn (Götterdämmerung) in the 2016 Melbourne Ring, as well as excerpts of Act 1of Sieglinde (Die Walküre) in private concert, Crobyle (Thäis) and the title role in Aïda in Griffith Opera on the Beach in 2017.
