Robert Bryan

Background: Born, Derby. Science graduate of Hull University. Founder of Theatre Projects Limited under the leadership of Richard Pilbrow. Resident Lighting Designer at Glyndebourne and at the Royal Opera House for many years. Career has included lighting plays, musicals and opera throughout the world, working in all the leading opera houses and theatres. Among the directors with whom he has worked are Michael Blakemore, John Cox, Sir Peter Hall, Terry Johnson, Jonathan Miller, Christopher Morahan, Elijah Moshinsky, Adrian Noble, Trevor Nunn, and Peter Wood. The designers he has collaborated with include Bob Crowley, Mathias Fischer-Dieskau, John Gunter, David Hockney, Richard Hudson, Stefanos Lazaridis, Timothy O’Brien and Roni Toren.
