Student Tickets
Opera for Students offers affordable tickets for school groups. Year 11 and 12 students can also access $20 tickets to certain performances.
Student rush is available for selected performances.

With this special offer, tickets to selected opera performances come with a free dinner (and a glass of wine or beer) at Eastbank Circular Quay or Searock Grill Circular Quay.
Groups
Organise a group of eight or more people to attend the same opera performance and you'll save up to 15% on tickets. You can book now, and pay later. Final confirmation and payment is due 6 weeks before your chosen performance. Conditions apply. Discounts and concessions vary for musicals and special events.

Concessions
Concession pricing is available for most performances (excluding Saturday evenings) for full Australian pensioners, full-time Australian students and children aged 16 years and under in both Sydney and Melbourne. Remember to bring along your I.D. to the box office — proof of eligibility will be required for collection. See our terms and conditions for more information.
Partial View Seats
At the Sydney Opera House, you can buy tickets for the balcony boxes for most performances. These seats have a limited view of the stage — they’re sometimes referred to as listening seats. They cost $47, plus an $9.80 transaction fee. To book, call our box office on 02 9318 8200 (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm).
