Josephine Lonergan

Soprano

Josephine Lonergan performed as Female Ensemble/Carlotta Giudicelli (Cover) in The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour in 2022. Josephine was also cast in the role of Madam Firmin/Princess/Carlotta (Cover) in Opera Australia and Cameron Mackintosh’s 2022 Australian tour of The Phantom of the Opera and performed with the company on Channel Nine for Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight. She has performed in many concerts, shows, operas, and opera excerpts, including performing the role of Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute for National Opera in 2021, directed by Peter Coleman-Wright.

Most recently, Josephine performed as Guest Soprano on board Princess Cruises and as a featured Guest Entertainer in their production shows Encore! and Bravo. Josephine also regularly performed her solo show Soprano on Stage: from Broadway to the Opera on board Princess ships. Josephine trained in opera and classical voice at the Royal Northern College of Music, Sydney Conservatorium and the Canberra School of Music.
