Chloë Dallimore

Chloë Dallimore AM is an award-winning Australian musical theatre performer and internationally accredited Intimacy Coordinator/Director. Born in Melbourne, she trained at the London Studio Centre, graduating with a BA in Dance Performance (Musical Theatre), with intensive study in dance, voice and acting.

Her work with Opera Australia includes: Assistant Director on Cinderella (Cendrillon) and Intimacy/Movement Director on: Amadeus, Anastasia, Candide, Carmen, Chorus!, Gilgamesh, Hadestown, Hamlet, Hansel & Gretel, La Bohème, La Traviata, Madama Butterfly, Miss Saigon, RENT, Rusalka, Sunset Boulevard, The Barber of Seville, The Marriage of Figaro, The Phantom of the Opera, Turandot, and West Side Story (Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour).

Across NSW theatre companies, her Intimacy Director credits include; A Mirror, The Master & Margarita and Big Girls Don’t Cry (Belvoir St Theatre); The Elocution of Benjamin Franklin, Naturism and Sex Magick (Griffin Theatre Company); Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show and Wicked (Crossroads Live); Uncle Vanya, ARIA and The Glass Menagerie (Ensemble Theatre Company); Ride The Cyclone, Zombie! and The Pirates of Penzance (Hayes Theatre Company); and The Normal Heart, The Shiralee and The Talented Mr Ripley (Sydney Theatre Company).

Her film credits as Intimacy Coordinator include; Send Help (20th Century Studios), Play Dirty (Amazon MGM Studios) and I Know What You Did Last Summer (Sony Pictures). Television credits include; Heartbreak High (Netflix), Bump (Stan), NCIS: Sydney (Paramount+), The Twelve (Warner Bros.), The Artful Dodger (Disney), Playing Gracie Darling (Screen Australia) and Return to Paradise (BBC).

As a performer, Chloë is best known for her Helpmann Award-winning portrayal of Ulla in The Producers. Her musical theatre credits also include Chicago, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Addams Family. Her awards include the Australian Entertainment Mo Award for Female Musical Theatre Performer (2004), Helpmann Award for Best Female Actor in a Musical (2005), Sydney Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (2005), and Victorian Green Room Award for Best Leading Female Artist in Music Theatre (2005). Chloë trained in intimacy practice under Ita O’Brien (Intimacy On Set) and Claire Warden (Intimacy Directors and Coordinators). She is also a qualified bodywork practitioner and studio owner. She is a former President of Actors’ Equity (MEAA), previously serving on the National Performers Committee and contributing to Federal Council negotiations and performer agreement advocacy.

In 2023, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of her significant service to the performing arts.
