Joshua Consandine

 

 

Background: Trained at The Australian Ballet School before joining the West Australian Ballet Company for one year. Then joined The Australian Ballet in 1994; he danced with the AB for ten years reaching the rank of Principal Artist. At The Australian Ballet he performed featured roles in the full classical and contemporary repertoire. Joshua then danced with the Sydney Dance Company for two years before graduating from NIDA's post graduate movement studies corse. Joshua currently works at NIDA and in the theatre industry as a dance/movement teacher and choreographer. He recently worked as Choreographer for John Sheedy’s production of Attempts on Her Life by Martin Crimp and Helmut Bakaitas' Production of Brecht’s The Private Life of the Master Race. Joshua first worked with Jim Sharman in 2008 for his workshop development of Andy X - book and lyrics Stephen Sewell
