Background: Born, Australia. Principal Ballerina with The Queensland Ballet 1982-1992. Recipient of an Australia Council for the Arts Fellowship. Received an Advance Australia Award for outstanding contribution to dance in Australia. Robert Helpmann Award for Tangled Heart, 1996, at the AICD Dance Creation Choreographic Competition.

Other Companies: Choreographed for Opera Queensland, Queensland Performing Arts Trust, The Queensland Ballet, The Australian Ballet The Dancers Company, Sydney Dance Company, independent projects, universities, film and television. Devised and directed SBS mini documentary series, Frocks Off, and the short films - Frocks Off (received IF Award in Adelaide, 2002) and The Red Dress (nominated for an Australian Dance Award, 2003) both screened on ABC Arts and International Festivals, and recently completed The Last Tango in Sunnybank, (2011). Currently collaborating with Elena Kats Chernin on a major dance theatre piece for Queensland Music Festival, The Little Green Road to Fairyland
