Background: Joined The Australian Opera in 1979 - responsible for overseeing the lighting requirements for the Company’s annual schedule of over 220 repertoire performances, including implementing the intentions of the Company’s guest lighting designers, recreating lighting designs for revivals of productions and transferring lighting designs to the theatres used during interstate tours. In 1993, engaged as Production Manager at Opera Australia, co-ordinating all technical aspects of the repertoire, including Baz Luhrmann’s award-winning A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Edinburgh Festival. Currently Technical Manager for the Sydney Symphony where he designed the lighting for Mahler 8 (Symphony of 1000) at the Sydney Superdome which was broadcast on ABC television for the Olympic Arts Festival
