FranÇois St Aubin


Background: Received his training at the National Theatre School of Canada. Mr. St-Aubin has been working in theatre design for the past twenty-five years, and has designed costumes for more than eighty theatre productions and a dozen operas, as well as modern dance pieces. Award winning designer,  Mr. St-Aubin’s work has been seen in Canada, the United States of America., Europe and Mexico, and he often collaborates with directors such as René-Richard Cyr and internationally acknowledged Denis Marleau, Dominic Champagne and Robert Lepage. He also teaches costume design and costume rendering at Lionel-Groulx College and coaches costume design at the National Theatre School of Canada.

Other Companies: The Count of Monte Cristo, Don Juan, An Ideal Husband (Stratford Festival of Canada); Carmen and Macbeth (Opéra de Montréal). Mr. St-Aubin is currently involved as costume designer with Robert Lepage on the Metropolitan Opera new production of the Ring Cycle
