Background: Studied choreography with Bessie Shonberg at Sarah Lawrence College NY, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts Degree. Ran the dance department at Dartington Hall, UK,  before joining The Scottish Ballet as Associate Director. He has now been a Choreographer for over forty years. Honorary Fellow of Laban. Doctor of Arts Degree for services to Choreography from City University London
